Our alcohol and drug treatment centers are private and exclusive. We are nationally recognized for our innovative and unique approach to treating the disease of addiction. The large landscaped and tree covered campuses provide a serene, at home feeling for its distinctive treatment programs. Our men's drug and alcohol treatment facilities have a small patient population, insuring additional contact by staff and bonding by the patients. Our therapeutic approach to alcohol and drug recovery is designed to facilitate the healing process.
Our unique approach to alcohol and drug rehab stems from our attention to practical activity. Our realistic recovery program consists of daily indoor and outdoor activities. Drug and alcohol treatment for alcoholism and drug addiction is an internal change and the balanced recovery program is designed to help invoke this internal change. It provides an element of fun to the alcohol and drug rehab process and teaches essential coping skills.
Our small patient population ensures counselor-patient bonding. This small clinical ratio ensures that the patient will get the best possible care during their course of treatment. Our average patient to counselor/therapist ratio is 5 to 1 and our direct care staff to patient ratio is 4-1. This therapeutic approach is designed to facilitate the individual and the families healing process.
Our professional therapists utilize all available modalities, information, and current scientific research. Pathway To Recovery incorporates many treatment approaches using patient centered therapy including:
Our clinical staff, in cooperation with Employee Assistance Programs, will work to develope a comprehensive occupational rehabilitation program to assist patients to return to work. Additionally, Pathway To Recovery will assist patients who do not have a high school diploma or GED to obtain one prior to discharge. We believe that an individual's long term sobriety is based, in part, in their ability to obtain meaningful employment.
Family involvement in the rehab process is critical for the success of long term recovery and abstinence from mind and mood altering substances. We encourage family members to attend and participate in our weekly Family Focus Meetings as well as visiting their loved ones during our visitation hours. We offer an intensive drug and alcohol treatment education program for family members of patients and is designed to help family members learn about the disease of chemical dependency so they may be better equipped to offer positive support for their loved one. Famlies are encouraged to join us on Friday nights for our Family Focus group from 6PM to 8PM.
The Pathway to Recovery men's drug and alcohol treatment facilities offer inpatient, intensive residential (RTC), partial hospitalization (PHP), intensive outpatient (IOP), and supportive outpatient (SOP), as well as unlimited aftercare for drug addiction and alcoholism. Our men’s recovery programs provides long-term recovery for adult men who are dependent on alcohol, illegal drugs, or prescription medication including benzodiazepines such as Xanax®, Valium®, and Klonopin®. We also accept dual diagnosed patients.
Our Texas Drug & Alcohol Treatment program is designed by our Clinical Staff including a Medical Director, Social Workers, and Chemical Dependency Counselors, based on an assessment of individual needs. Our focus is on the client, family, and a successful recovery experience.
Individuals affected by drug addiction and alcoholism know that their life is out of control, and that addiction has rendered them unable to maintain control over mood-altering substances. They have become victims of a compulsive disorder and an uncontrollable dependency on chemicals which inevitably destroys their lives.
At Pathway to Recovery, we know that drug addiction and alcoholism affects the entire family. For the family and the addicted family member, life begins to deteriorate as social relationships weaken, children are neglected or abused, jobs are in jeopardy or are lost, finances are in disarray, and in some cases, hospitalization or legal problems occur. Addiction becomes a reality when the use of alcohol or other drugs interferes with the person's health, family, job, or social life—when one or more aspects of life become unmanageable as a result of chemical dependency. However, effective drug addiction and alcoholism treatment is available for both the addict and their family.
Pathway to Recovery is licensed by the Texas Department of State Health Services to provide inpatient and outpatient treatment in Texas.
Our Texas drug and alcohol treatment philosophy is that each individual is unique and of worth and should be treated with dignity and respect. Our fundamental goal is to restore the individual to a healthier, happier and more productive life, free from dependency on alcohol or other drugs.
Our men's alcohol and drug rehab program offers 12-step orientation and all patients are educated about the programs of Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) and Narcotics Anonymous (NA). NA and AA meetings are held seven days each week.
